Bye Bye Boppy

I forgot to say that Gavin has been without his boppy for over a week now! Yay! If you have ever been around Gavin much you know that his boppy is his very best friend and we never left home without it but, surprisingly it has been a very easy transition for him. I told him that since he had big boy teeth now the boppy wasn't good for him to have anymore, babies are the only ones that can have boppy's because they don't have any teeth! Luckily, he is very into brushing his teeth and he is very proud of his big boy teeth so the story has worked like a charm! Last night as I was putting him to bed he didn't even ask for it! Thank you Jesus - now let's just hope that potty training goes this easily!

Vacation Pictures - The Aquarium

We went to Tulsa for a long weekend, with Mike's job right now a long weekend is all that we could get away with, and it was great! We went to the aquarium and the zoo and hung out at the hotel! It was great and I can't wait until the next weekend getaway, whenever it might come! Enjoy the pictures! It's hard travelling but it does give you time for a great nap!

Luckily, Daddy didn't take advantage of naptime too!

This picture is from the aquarium, it was a super neat museum!

He is super cute!

It was a neat museum because you could touch certain animals - I think he is looking at a starfish!
He was feeding the turtles a carrot - he loved this part!
The other thing that Gavin loved at the aquarium was the shark tank! They had this tunnel that you could walk under that was full of different sharks. At first Gavin was not impressed and a little intimidated but we finally made it through and then he said, "I want to see it again!"
So we did!
I love this picture! We are on our way out of the aquarium and off to find our hotel!

Singing and other cute things!

Gavin has started singing random songs when they come in his head, most of the time you can't understand, it's just a lot of lalala but sometimes if you sing along with him then he will repeat the song that you are singing! It is just too cute!

My mom has also taught him to say "Sufferin' Succotash" and it is hilarious! Sometimes it doesn't always sound exactly right he usually gets pretty close! He is such a good speaker but sometimes his "s" combination sounds don't come out right, it's still pretty cute though!

We had a great time on vacation and I will try to post pictures soon! On our way home Gavin slept most of the way and all of a sudden he woke up and just started talking and being so silly! He had a blanket and his cup and I guess when he woke up he moved his blanket over his cup and he couldn't see it so he wanted to know where his cuppy was, we told him to look under his blanket and he said "Oh, there it is!" A few minutes later he said, "Momma, where's Gavi?" I wasn't sure what he was talking about so I turned around and he had covered himself up with his blanket! He is turning into quite the little jokester!
